Overview

To perform basic, routine maintenance and keep the property clean and safe.

Responsibilities

Must be able to work autonomouslyAbility to complete all tasks quickly and efficientlyGood verbal communications with ability to keep others informedAssist in supervision of community service workersDemonstrate experience providing resourceful solutions to resolve problemsGeneral maintenance dutiesRoom set-upsMaintain all storage areasInventory of maintenance and cleaning suppliesMopping, sweeping and buffing of floorsLawn maintenanceClearing snow from sidewalks in winter and putting down snow meltAbility to make food pick-upsAssist with security of Corps propertyAssist with seasonal programs as neededSchedule and transport vehicles for oil changes and other necessary maintenanceAssist in maintenance of officer quarters as neededCleaning Chapel weekly

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GEDMaintenance Experience

Ability to stand for 3-4 hours at a timeAbility to lift, pull and carry up to and in excess of 60 poundsHave a valid Ohio Driver’s licenseAbility to pass OTIS test and drive 12-passenger vanBe insurable by The Salvation Army
