Job Summary

The Lead Medical Lab Scientist:

 

  • Performs and interprets routine clinical laboratory tests according to established policies and procedures
  • Organizes work flow efficiently, and ensures the accuracy, acceptability and confidentiality of test results
  • Assists management in the organization and direction of day to day operations of his or her specific lab section

Education Requirements

  • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
  • Master's Degree - or - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Master's Degree

Experience

  • Flow Cytometry Experience Required

Certification and Licensure

  • ASCP or CAP accredited equivalent eligible
