Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our Employee Health department. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience, accurate data management, and effective communication between patients, providers, and staff.

 

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner

• Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments

• Assemble and maintain patient charts and records

• Answer and route incoming telephone calls efficiently

• Deliver return-to-work notes and other documentation to providers

• Perform accurate and timely data entry (a major component of this role)

• Scan, organize, and file medical documents electronically

• Manage provider and departmental calendars using Outlook

• Utilize the Agility program (training provided)

• Create and update Excel spreadsheets for departmental tracking

• Support the daily workflow and administrative operations of the department

• Collect, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail

Requirements:

 

• High School Diploma  or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Previous experience in a medical or administrative office preferred

Posted Salary Range

USD $26.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
