Overview

Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre is seeking a Scheduler to work in our Patient Access Dept./Imaging.  The scheduling Representative will communicate policies, protocols and instructions relevant to the service being scheduled, providing a positive patient experience. Adheres to Mercy Hospital department policies and procedures and JC/regulatory agency requirements.  Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.

Job Details

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.  College degree preferred.

 

Experience/ Skills:

 

• Previous registration, medical insurance background, medical terminology required. 
• 1 - 2 years in a health related field required.    
• Excellence in customer service, interview and data accumulation skills, computer/keyboard skills and internet knowledge. 
• Able to navigate from one software system to another efficiently.

Posted Salary Range

USD $27.22 - USD $27.22 /Hr.
