Overview

A kind family of four on the Upper West Side is seeking a fantastic evening nanny for their 6-year-old son and 3.5 year-old-daughter. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 4-7pm. The family also needs help in the morning from 7-9am, getting the children up and off to school- if a candidate is interested in both sets of hours that would ideal, but the evening hours are the priority. The start date for this role is on or around November 26- they can be flexible for the right person! 

Responsibilities

• Picking up the youngest child at school (2 blocks from the home) 
• Coordinating after-school activities such as taking her to the playground, educational play, reading, games, and art projects
• Assisting with mealtime and hygiene routines 
• Light tidying of children's and common areas- keeping things picked up throughout the evening 
• Assisting with family meal preparation- this is not complicated, but will involve preparing basic recipes 
• Prepping lunches and preparing children's backpacks in the evening

• Educational focused and engaging with children 
• Outgoing and warm
• Patient
• Proactive 

Requirements

• US work authorization
• Comfortable with preparing basic family meals 
• Focused on health and hygiene- cleanliness is very important to the family 

Salary and Benefits

• $35-40/hr.
