Role summary:
We are looking for an Accountant to join our international Swedish client services team in Valencia. This is a great opportunity for someone with early-career accounting experience who wants to grow within a global financial services environment.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Process and review financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing.

  • Perform bank, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and financial year-end close processes.

  • Assist with audit preparation, including supporting documentation and auditor queries.

  • Contribute to the preparation of annual reports and statutory financial statements.

  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality client service.

Skills / experience:

  • 1+ year of accounting experience.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, Finance, Accounting or something similar.

  • Swedish personal identity number (personnummer) and BankID required for client, banking, and regulatory processes.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English is a must.

  • Experience or exposure to year-end close, audit support, or financial reporting is an advantage.

  • Service-minded, motivated, and team-oriented.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in deadline-driven environments.
