Job Description Summary

Administrative and design/marketing support for the programs and services provided to the College’s international student population.

Employment begins in January.

The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the job:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with varied and sometimes complex projects

  • Assist with filing, copying, mailings, and interacting with visitors to the office.

  • Assist with the development of tracking systems for immigration paperwork.

  • Assist with the development and management of social media.

  • Design marketing materials for the office

  • Create presentation materials for workshops and other programs

  • Develop brand/logo for the office and incorporate design into other materials

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must have knowledge of photoshop, other specialized design software and video production and editing

  • Must be able to use software to create presentations and promotional materials

  • Must be dependable, able to work as scheduled, and work with minimal supervision.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, reliable and able to follow through on assignments

  • Must have the integrity to handle documents of a sensitive and confidential nature, and other personal information, without divulging details or conversations overheard.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, faculty and other students in a courteous and professional manner.

Education and Experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be enrolled as a student of Ringling College of Art and Design and have experience with I-20s and immigration issues.
