Job Description

ARTH 124: History of Game Art.

Survey of the history of computer games. Examines technological, design, and aesthetic landmarks in computer games from 1950 to the present as well as the development of game culture and traditions.

This position is available for remote work in CT, VA, SC, FL, AL, GA, and TX. 
 

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• A master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline)
• A repertoire of engaging teaching techniques that reaches out to a variety of learning styles
• Familiarity with digital technologies in teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD or other terminal degree in a relevant subject area.
• College level teaching experience
• Strong interest or background in an art and design school environment.
