Job Description:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and supporting account analysis / schedules for statutory & management reporting.
  • Manage payment processes: vendor invoices, intercompany settlements, employee reimbursements, and ensure accuracy/timeliness of disbursements.
  • Handle petty cash disbursement, replenishment, and reconciliation in line with company policy and internal controls.
  • Perform account reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, and manage fixed assets (acquisition, disposal, depreciation, impairment, and reconciliation).
  • Follow Global process procedures as trained by Corporate Headquarters.
  • Prepare GST, VAT, WHT, Property Tax submission
  • Support Accounting Manager in corporate/statutory reporting, tax compliance (CIT), and optimize BOI privileges.  This includes supporting preparation of monthly financial statements, providing revenue and expenditure variance analysis and feedback to department managers, as well as providing monthly budget monitoring to department head.
  • Provide support for tax audits and transfer pricing; monitor internal controls and maintain process documentation.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly review and year-end audit.
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis, system/process improvements, and cross-functional projects.
  • The role may require working beyond standard business hours to meet deadlines.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
•    5+ years’ experience in accounting, preferably with multinational/manufacturing companies.
•    Strong knowledge of Thai / Singapore Accounting Standards, Tax regulations, BOI requirements.
•    Experience with General Ledger, Journal Entries, Account Analysis and reconciliations, petty cash, fixed assets, and payment processing.
•    Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel. Oracle EBS is preferred.
•    Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word as well as Adobe Acrobat
•    Analytical, detail-oriented, deadline-driven.
•    The ability to adapt to changing regulations and work in a challenging environment.
•    Fluent in speaking, reading and writing both English and Thai.  
•    TOEIC score is min. 850 or equivalent.

Misc Info:
•    This position requires occasional travel between Rayong, Thailand and Singapore. This position will be based on where we find a candidate, if a candidate is found in Singapore the intent would be to have them work in the Singapore office (the Lab is located there, no manufacturing) with 25% travel to the manufacturing site in Rayong, Thailand.  If the person is found in Thailand, we do not expect there to be travel to Singapore unless a need arises.
