About the Role
As a Modular Construction Sales Representative at Hayes Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in expanding our footprint in the modular building industry. This position requires strong business development expertise, proven relationship-building skills, and the ability to align client needs with modular construction solutions. You will contribute directly to Hayes Modular’s growth by securing new business opportunities with general contractors, developers, and modular partners while supporting internal Z Modular initiatives.
You will collaborate with estimating, project management, operations, and scheduling teams to deliver accurate proposals and seamless project execution. This is a position can be based in Austin, TX, or Remote, with travel required.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing long-term client partnerships, and is motivated to exceed sales targets in a growing market.

Who You Are
5+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience in modular construction, general contracting, or related industries.
Strong scheduling and project coordination abilities with proven stakeholder management skills.
Highly motivated, organized, and accountable, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
Ability to travel regionally and nationally as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience with modular installations, logistics, crane operations, or complex scheduling a plus.
Established network in the modular, contractor, or developer market preferred.
