What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform welding and fabrication on plant and mobile equipment in GA, based out of Demorest and Doraville sites
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain structural components of crushers, conveyors, and screens
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Operate cutting torches, grinders, and other tools to complete welding tasks
  • Support plant operations by ensuring equipment is safe, functional, and compliant

What Are We Looking For

  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
  • Ability to work safely in industrial and outdoor environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment and aggregate processing machinery
  • Flexibility to travel between Demorest and Doraville locations as needed

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
