Compensation: $15.00/hour
Hours: Students may work a maximum of 25 hours per week during the academic semester.
The student employee will assist with general office administration duties in the Office of Academic Affairs, including:
Assisting with reception and front desk responsibilities;
Maintaining office supply inventory;
Creating and maintaining documents using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word;
Performing administrative tasks such as paper and electronic filing, word processing, document scanning, and photocopying;
Assisting with meeting logistics, including room reservations, technology requests, and catering arrangements;
Assisting with maintenance of the Academic Affairs website;
Providing back-up support to colleagues in the Office of Academic Affairs;
Assisting with other office tasks and projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must successfully pass a Criminal Background Check.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including in-person, telephone, and email communication.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate computer skills.
Graphic design and writing/editing experience preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Note: Students applying for this position must be available to work full days on Fridays during the summer in the Academic Affairs Office located in Old Main.
