We’re growing fast across the UK, West and Nordics, and we’re looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance team. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, mentoring the team, and supporting our Head of Accounting with strong financial control and statutory compliance.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple ERP systems, contribute to system improvements, and help shape the future of our finance function.
Mentor and support the Finance Team, helping develop capability and confidence.
Review reports prepared by the Management Accounts team to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
Prepare and submit VAT returns, EC Sales and Intrastat reports.
Liaise with auditors and external partners to ensure statutory accounts are accurate and compliant.
Support payroll submissions and ensure all HMRC deadlines are met.
Prepare audits for ISO reporting.
Review sales ledger and supplier reconciliations.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong internal controls.
Identify risk areas and implement appropriate controls.
Monitor cashflow and ensure compliance with group guidelines
Prepare monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
Produce and upload group reports such as Health of Business KPIs and Trade Working Capital.
Provide insightful analysis for other departments including operations and tech.
Maintain rolling forecasts to support the Finance Business Partner.
Support the Head of Accounting and Finance Business Partner with the annual budget process.
Support ERP system implementation and ensure financial data is transferred accurately.
Strong experience in management accounting and financial control.
Excellent attention to detail with a passion for accuracy.
Experience working with ERP systems
Confident communicator with the ability to mentor and support others.
Strong understanding of statutory reporting, VAT and HMRC requirements.
A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
