JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Consultant assists others with all stages of the writing process, ranging from developmental course writing to professional writing. This position participates in academic support outreach activities and trainings and performs other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Assists students, faculty and staff with all stages of the writing process from developmental course writing to professional writing.
Completes documentation and corresponds with instructors regarding student visits.
Aids students with use of college technology resources.
Presents classroom orientation sessions.
Conducts writing-related workshops for students and faculty across the disciplines.
Assists faculty across the disciplines with writing assignment design.
Attends work activities or programs as scheduled or assigned.
