JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Metropolitan Community College’s Business Development Center is seeking passionate, experienced non-credit instructors to support our mission of empowering individuals through entrepreneurship, workforce development, and small business education. This role provides flexible teaching opportunities throughout the year and focuses on delivering engaging, skills-based content that fosters personal growth, professional advancement, and economic mobility.

Ideal candidates will bring subject matter expertise in areas such as business planning, marketing, finance, leadership, customer service, digital tools, or related fields that support entrepreneurs, small business owners, and aspiring professionals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


•    Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience (in-person or virtual) with diverse age groups, including adults
•    Subject matter expertise in business, leadership, technology, or career skills
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•    Ability to design and deliver engaging, relevant, and applied course content
•    A passion for teaching, mentoring, and contributing to community success
•    Entrepreneurial experience or business ownership preferred

Classes are held on weekday, weeknights and weekends. MCC will hold classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area including Fremont and Blair.
