The student will work with the Professor grading papers, assisting with office hours and other various tasks of a similar nature. Winter and spring term.

Hours/Shifts Available: 7 or 8 weekly hours; Mon-Fri normal work hours

Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Grading homework

• Possibly holding extra office hours for students

• Working directly with the course instructor
   

Qualifications for the Position

• Strong record in calculus course, or possible MTH 130, and should have successfully completed at least one upper level mathematic course in the department, and with grades in the A-range for these courses. Preference given to those who have completed an upper-level math course.

• Math Major/Minor, also welcome ENG Major/Minor

• Ability to maintain confidentiality is a MUST

• Time management skills

• Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills

• Basic organizational skills (alpha/numeric)

• Attention to detail and accuracy
