Position: Quality Engineer II

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Defective Return Part Analysis process, including issue replication and hardware/software root cause investigations.

  • Manage OEM Change Point Control processes for assigned customers.

  • Conduct warranty claims analysis, categorize issues, and perform data analytics to identify trends and drive improvements.

  • Report quality status to internal stakeholders and external customers.

  • Standardize documentation and workflow processes to improve efficiency and consistency.

  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of customer-required documentation.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive electronics (ECU testing and system-level integration).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Technical knowledge in automotive electronics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) at an advanced level.

  • Knowledge of statistics and problem-solving tools (Minitab, Power BI, Six Sigma, 8D, etc.).

  • Experience with or knowledge of large production lines, Control Plans, PFMEAs, and process control.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to once per week as needed.

  • Ability to manage small sample shipments received weekly (typically 1–3 lb samples packaged in 2–3 boxes weighing approximately 5–10 lbs each).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
