Department: Finance & Purchasing

Grade: 260

Salary: $32.97/hour

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the administration of the daily operation for the Purchasing Department and Office Services and supervises three associates.
  • Establishes daily work priorities, gathers necessary work materials, provides procedural assistance, forecasts workload, and discusses associate performance and work standards with the Deputy Director of Finance and Purchasing.
  • Responsible for monitoring the Purchasing department’s budget, and the development of procuring needed services, supplies and equipment for County departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Three years of administrative supervisory experience in purchasing, accounting, finance, or related field. 
  • NIGP certification preferred.
  • Certified Purchasing Professional or Certified Purchasing Manager, preferred.
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
