Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with preparing sales reports, presentations, and account summaries.
- Support day-to-day activities related to customer service, order entry, and pricing updates.
- Conduct market and product research to help identify new sales opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams such as marketing, procurement, and logistics to support customer needs.
- Help maintain CRM systems with accurate customer and sales data.
- Participate in customer calls or meetings as appropriate and take meeting notes.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales department.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Strong interest in food distribution, sales, or customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
