JOB SUMMARY:

Trainer, Payer Operations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Virtix Health is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Operations Trainer to support the development, delivery, and maintenance of training programs that align with organizational and operational goals. This role focuses on creating and facilitating effective learning experiences, developing training materials, and supporting ongoing process education across clinical, technical, and business areas. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong instructional design, facilitation, and communication skills. This individual will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, and operations staff to ensure employees have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles

Primary Responsibilities:

Curriculum Design & Content Development

  • Assist in designing and developing training materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, quick reference guides, and SOPs.
  • Ensure materials align with adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and organizational standards.
  • Translate complex workflows and technical content into accessible and engaging resources for diverse learner groups.

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Facilitate instructor-led training (virtual and in-person) to new hires and existing employees.
  • Adapt delivery methods and materials to meet the needs of different audiences and learning styles.
  • Provide one-on-one or group coaching to reinforce knowledge and support skill development.
  • Collect learner feedback during and after training sessions to assess understanding and improve future delivery.

Documentation & Technical Support

  • Maintain and update training documentation, including SOPs, process maps, and FAQs.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of training environments and simulated workflows.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and coordinating access to training tools or platforms.

Collaboration & Alignment

  • Partner with operational teams and subject matter experts to gather information, clarify processes, and ensure training reflects current practices.
  • Participate in system demos, process walkthroughs, and implementation activities to stay aligned with organizational updates.

Training Logistics & Support

  • Help coordinate training schedules, course registration, and communication for upcoming sessions.
  • Maintain accurate training records, course materials, and resource repositories.
  • Support logistical efforts for system go-lives, upgrades, and optimization events.

Evaluation & Improvement

  • Collect and analyze training feedback and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement of training content based on learner input and process updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in training delivery, technical writing, or instructional content development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Visio, and content management tools like SharePoint or Confluence.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and eLearning tools such as Articulate, Rise, Camtasia, or SnagIt.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and visual communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with a learner-first mindset and commitment to clarity and accuracy for continuous learning improvement to drive continuous improvement and meet operational goals.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute multiples training initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences, build strong cross-functional relationships, and clearly convey complex information in both written and verbal formats.
  • Highly adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
