The CAC Group Summer Internship Program provides rising college seniors with practical, hands-on experience within the corporate risk management, and insurance industries. Interns in this program will gain exposure to risk management within a specific specialty line. Departmental/specialty line placement will be based on interest. We have internship opportunities in the following departments:
• Property & Casualty- Our Property & Casualty team provides insurance and capital market solutions that respond to the full spectrum of risks within a company. The Property & Casualty intern will have exposure to all lines of Property & Casualty insurance, within multiple industries, while working alongside seasoned risk management professionals.
• Financial Lines – Our Financial Lines specialists work to protect individuals, executive management teams, and corporate assets from broad allegations of mismanagement. The Financial Lines intern will have the opportunity to learn risk analysis, contract language and structure, and corporate communication skills.
• Professional & Cyber Solutions - Our Professional and Cyber Solutions team place policies that cover financial losses from professional services claims, cyberattacks, data breaches and other technology related incidents. The Professional & Cyber Solutions intern will work closely with the team and get a glimpse into the world of E&O and cyber insurance.
• Natural Resources- Our Natural Resources teams are well-versed in the importance and often time-sensitive nature of risk and insurance services for our clients specifically in the natural resources industry. The Natural Resources intern will gain insight on our specialized approach to insurance for Oil & Gas industry clients.
• Employee Benefits- Our Employee Benefits Practice offers client service and leadership guidance and consulting to support our client’s employee benefit programs. The Employee Benefits intern will gain firsthand exposure to the process of defining and improving benefit strategies.
• Transactional Liability- Our Transactional Liability team offers contingent risk services, representations & warranties insurance, and tax insurance. The Transactional Liability intern will be placed with our Tax insurance group where they will learn about tax insurance solutions from seasoned tax attorneys and underwriters.
• Private Equity - Our Private Equity intern will gain exposure to the rapidly evolving and highly successful private equity sector where increased scrutiny has brought about heightened regulation, litigation, and unforeseen risks. This intern will be focused on an industry but will learn several different lines of insurance within the Private Equity space.
Our program is designed for those who share our dedication and passion for risk management and insurance. We prioritize the professional development of our interns, investing significantly in their potential. As part of our comprehensive rotational program, you will be introduced to our three core business segments: Commercial Risk Management, Employee Benefits, and Private Risk Management.
In addition to interacting with top C-suite professionals during intern enrichment sessions, you will also get the unique chance to take part in client visits, mentorship opportunities, and gain practical hands-on experience through shadowing professionals within our dynamic business segments.

Required Qualifications:

• Rising senior graduating between December 2026- June 2027 actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Insurance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• Preferred prior working experience (can include part-time or school breaks)
• Communication, networking, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Adaptable to change and enjoys learning in a fast-paced environment
• Long term interest in joining CAC Group
