Foremost, the individual must speak, read and write Spanish natively

To be considered to this position, all candidates must pass a written medical terminology test that includes, vocabulary, description of medical conditions and informed consents for surgery and procedures.                                    

This position is responsible for interpreting for Spanish Speaking families and healthcare providers, translating letters, documents, all encounters in a medical setting. This individual will speak, write, edit and proofread content in both English and Spanish across a wide variety of medical terminology for different audiences.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 2 years of Interpreter (oral) and Translation (written) experience.

Ability to manage several projects at the same time and excellent organizational, customer service and time management skill.

Firm understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of products, Microsoft Outlook.

Bilingual writing ability required

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree required
