Pinehurst Country Club is currently recruiting a part-time Kids Activity Facilitator! 

 

Job Summary (Essential Functions) 

Responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a variety of engaging activities for children while ensuring their safety, well-being, and enjoyment. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives through play, creativity, and education. 

 

Job Tasks/Duties 

  • Develop a diverse range of activities, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and educational programs, that cater to different age groups and interests.  

  • Ensure that activities are age-appropriate, safe, and enjoyable for all participants. 

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for children by implementing safety protocols and guidelines.  

  • Supervise children during activities, both indoors and outdoors, to prevent accidents and maintain order. 

  • Build positive relationships with children, fostering a fun and inclusive atmosphere.  

  • Encourage active participation, creativity, and social interaction among children. 

  • Be prepared to adapt activities and strategies based on the needs and preferences of the children.  

  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during activities. 

  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues to provide updates on activities and children's progress.  

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded program. 

  • Ensure all materials, equipment, and supplies are in good condition and well-organized for activities.  

  • Report any equipment issues and assist with ordering replacements as needed. 

  • Maintain records of attendance, incidents, and feedback from parents or guardians.  

  • Provide regular reports and updates to the management team 

 

Licenses and Qualifications 

  • Previous experience working with children in a similar role is preferred.  

  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development and well-being. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus. 

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 40 pounds. 

  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. 

  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
