ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for full oversight of Accounts Payable with experience in Payment process, approvals.
- Oversees the entire A/P process and propose improvement ideas/suggestion to gain process efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist staff in researching and handling more complicated transactions and problems.
- Needs to have essential knowledge, tools and a context to understand the type of errors that are occurring and be able to
- manage the risk accordingly. Perform RCA- CAPA for and identify training needs.

- Ensures adherence to SOX and Internal controls and always maintains updated process documents.
- Interface with cross functional teams and senior level management in communicating and resolving issues.
- Responsible for various monthly reporting requirements.
- Partner with accounting team to provide/validate information as required for month closing
- Building and maintaining relationships with employees, internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a single point of contact for resolving any dispute
- Manage information requests during the year or year-end audits and respond to requests for information during internal audit
- Other projects as directed by management
Qualifications and Technical Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- 10 or more years of A/P Accounting experience
- 5 years or more of leadership experience (must have handled team size of 15-20+ team members)
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software
- Must have large ERP AP system experience
- Experience working on process improvement initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal and external counterparts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good presentation skills for educating internal counterparts on process developments
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
