Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business, healthcare administration, legal studies, or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in an administrative, regulatory, or compliance support role
- Professional certification in Healthcare Compliance preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and Power BI Reporting
- Previous experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) reporting and data analytics
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Familiarity with revenue integrity processes or non-profit corporate compliance, desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. and strong attention to detail
- Ability to balance regulatory requirements with operational realities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
General Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of tasks related to the annual compliance work plan, to ensure the Program’s effectiveness in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting potential or actual noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior throughout the agency.
- Monitor, track and report completion of required trainings, certifications, and attestations.
- Proactive planning of Compliance Policy review, update, and renewal.
- Assist in preparation of detailed compliance reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies.
- Conduct basic compliance audits and investigations in collaboration with agency departments, ensuring follow-up actions are tracked.
- Maintain professional and collaborative relationships with agency departmental staff while conducting investigations or reviews, promoting transparency and mutual accountability.
- Provide guidance relating to existing and emerging regulatory compliance requirements throughout the organization.
- Provide recommendations and/or training and educational programs to ensure understanding of related laws, regulations and the organizations policies and procedures.
- Act as a compliance resource in the development of policies and procedures.
- Monitor, respond and report on incidents submitted to the Compliance Hotline/E-mail.
- Respond to routine Compliance inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information properly.
- Support the organization’s PCI Compliance efforts, including monitoring adherence to PCI DSS, assisting with annual assessments, tracking required documentation and collaborating with IT and Finance as needed.
- Use critical thinking and a solutions-oriented approach to address compliance challenges and barriers.
Hours: This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position.
Compensation: $27.00 hourly based on experience, degree, and certifications.
