$108,000.00-$135,000.00

The Blood Bank Supervisor oversees, maintains and works with all aspects of the Blood Bank Laboratory. This includes specimen testing and analysis, equipment and instrumentation maintenance, knowledge and adherence to all regulatory, hospital and laboratory safety procedures, physician and hospital staff interactive communication, employees staff development, training and evaluation. Establishes and manages vendor relationships.

Required Background:

• BS Degree in Medical Technology or related field
• NYS Clinical Lab Technologist Certification
• Minimum of six years experience working in an approved Clinical Blood Bank Lab
• Knowledge of all Laboratory requirements
• Working knowledge of equipment and use
• Prior leadership experience. Strong communication, and organizational Skills
• Specialist certification a plus
