Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide statistical support for grant, and analysis to work as a member of the Research Department at Scottish Rite for Children

• Under the direction of the Statistician Sr., support clinical and basic science research; including contribution to the study design, sample size determination, generation of data analysis plans and statistical analyses

• Interact daily with other laboratory staff and supervisor

Required Skills/Abilities

• Master's degree in computer science, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Statistics required

• Strong data management and statistical computing skills including SAS and/or R programming skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis or programming

• Understanding of study design, evaluation research, and statistics

• Strong analytical and organizational skills; must be detail-oriented

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to take initiative and work both independently as well as part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent activities with good prioritization and follow through and to maintain project timelines
