As an Overnight Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate care and support to our residents while ensuring a safe, comfortable, and peaceful environment throughout the night. Whether it's assisting a resident, offering reassurance, or helping prepare the community for a new day, your work matters.

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care during overnight hours.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, dressing, grooming, and mobility support as needed.
• Perform routine safety, security, and wellness checks.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
• Observe, document, and communicate changes in resident condition or behavior.
• Assist with medication reminders according to community policies and state regulations.
• Complete overnight housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.
• Communicate effectively with teammates during shift transitions.
• Follow all community policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Compassion, patience, and a strong desire to help others.
• Dependability and strong attendance.
• Ability to work independently and remain attentive throughout the overnight shift.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
• Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, CBRF, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items consistent with caregiving responsibilities.
• Ability to respond quickly to resident needs and emergency situations.
