Position Summary:

Supervises others while delivering exceptional guest service while meeting guest Slot Ticket Redemption, Chip Redemption, Check Cashing and Player Services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes superior guest service.
  • Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
  • Enforces Casino regulatory rules and regulations, Casino internal controls and accounting controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
  • Ensures compliance with Gaming Regulations and other Federal/State agencies
  • Assists in monitoring business demands and makes necessary scheduling and staffing adjustments.
  • Assists the Cage Shift Manager with day-to-day operation of the Cages to include training, counseling, and supervision of employees.
  • Promotes superior Guest service to both Internal and External Guests.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all departments.
  • Handles guest service and employee related issues with composure and professionalism
  • Assumes the responsibilities of the Cage Shift Manager in his/her absence.
  • Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • Basic computer input skills.
  • Previous money-handling experience.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Outstanding organizational skills required as well as strong written and verbal skills.
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Must be able lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
  • Must be capable of interacting with the public in a highly professional and positive manner.
  • Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
  • Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
