We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Abdominal Organ Research Specialist to join our Abdominal Organ Research team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a researcher to gain hands-on experience in abdominal transplant research while contributing to meaningful projects within our dynamic research and lab environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
•    Performs experiments related to Kidney and Liver product development.
•    Assist in data collection, including sample preparation, data recording and basic analysis.
•    Plan and prepare for conduct of experiments in the lab.
•    Collect and organize data.
•    Participate in lab procedures including research surgeries related to the experiments.
•    Apply laboratory techniques and contribute to the day-to-day operations.
•    Other TransMedics tasks and duties as deemed necessary by the Supervisor
                
BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:
•    1–2-year experience in a research/clinical lab is preferred
•    Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to producing accurate and reliable data.
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
•    Experience with data management software (SAS, STATA, etc.) and analysis of large volume data

EDUCATION:
•    Bachelor’s degree in biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences or related field
