Inventory Control Clerk / Shipper-Receiver

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES 

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: 

  • Issue material from the stockroom to production floor and requistioners.  

  • Deliver material to replenish kanban bins in production.  

  • Enter inventory, receiving and shipping transactions into ERP database.  

  • Perform cycle counts.  

  • Receive parts from suppliers.  

  • Move material to and from QC as required 

  • Prepare TransMedics products for shipment.  

  • Enter shipments into FedEx & UPS manifest systems.  

  • Maintain individual work area I equipment in a neat orderly manner. This includes proper disposal of waste packaging material, proper storage and use of equipment and parts, and management of documentation needed to perform duties identified within this job description.  

  • Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned/required.  

 

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES 

This position manages the following positions on a daily basis. 

  • This position will not have management responsibilities. 

 

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES  

  • This position requires physical capabilities associated with packing and shipping pallets.   

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.   

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  

  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 5+ years ‘experience working in a Stockroom/Warehouse  

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

      • Strong computer skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, word processing.  

      • Experience working with MRP/ERP systems/databases.  

      • Ability to follow written instructions and procedures with limited supervision.  

      • Must possess effective oral and written communications skills.
