Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is a contract role managing Accounts Receivable invoices for existing and new clients, ensuring accuracy of monies entered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Develops contacts and relationships within assigned customers to facilitate the processing of invoices.
  • Identifies the payment approval process for each customer and leverages that to get paid timely.
  • Evaluates and recommends solutions for continuous improvement pertaining to AR.
  • Reconciling accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tracking payments and researching discrepancies.
  • Resolving billing issues and disputes with customers.
  • Preparing regular reports on collection activity and cash flow projections.
  • Analyzing receivable aging reports and prioritizing collection efforts.
  • Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned/required.                                     

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES 

This position will not have any management responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS                                                         

  • 7-10 years prior experience in AR work, required
  • Solid strategic, analytic and financial skills
  • Ability to input data into computerized billing system, required
  • Familiarity (MS Office, Excel)
  • Familiarity with EMR systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's and/or Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Education, Associates, Business, Graduate, Technical, Business/Administration, Economics, Communication
