We are looking for a Planner I to join our team in Costa Rica. You will be responsible for coordinating, planning and purchasing materials required to manufacture and scheduling activities to support one or more product lines.

This is 12 months temporary position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Manage and update production schedules and databases.
  • Generate and maintain paperwork for assigned product lines, including traveler issuance, job tracking, and order connections.
  • Estimate, plan, and coordinate raw material and other supply requirements to support production.
  • Review and revise purchasing or planning documentation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company and local Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Monitor production progress to meet required ship dates and avoid over- or under-shipment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Commerce, Supply Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain or a related area.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including email, record keeping, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work effectively in a self-managed, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level).
  • Skilled in problem-solving, data collection, analysis, and drawing sound conclusions.
