The Evergreen Club is fully accredited as a Mental Health Clubhouse by Clubhouse International and the state of Washington. It serves residents of Spokane County age 18 and older who are enrolled in publicly-funded behavioral healthcare services with FBH or another provider in the region.
The Evergreen Club is structured around the Day Support model, which is a psychosocial rehabilitation approach that helps with employment, housing, education, and activities of daily living.
The Clubhouse model of psychosocial rehabilitation is a community mental health service model that helps people with a history of serious mental illness rejoin society and maintain their place in it; it builds on people's strengths and provides mutual support, along with professional staff support, for people to receive prevocational work training, educational opportunities, and social support.
The Supervisor provides supervision and oversight of a Clubhouse program for adults experiencing serious and persistent mental illness, with an emphasis on promoting confidence and opportunity for meaningful work and meaningful relationships in a supportive environment. Will also provide training and consultation to staff, including consistent role modeling of Clubhouse philosophy and values. Coordinates program development, planning and implementation using the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD) Standards for Clubhouses as appropriate. Leads the planning and evaluation of the program, including coordination of monthly Evergreen Club (EGC) Board Meetings. Supervise staff to ensure compliance with and implementation of day support service goals and objectives. Provides consultation and education to other FBH staff and to the community about the Clubhouse. Provides direct case management services as required. Occasional work on weekends, evenings and holidays is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Continually seek areas of opportunity for program and process improvement and work in collaboration with program director to implement positive change.
Network with clubhouses within and outside of Washington State. Represent the agency in any State clubhouse development forum.
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of clubhouse rules and oversee program for compliance.
Provide and role model effective leadership that engages, motivates and supports assigned staff.
Provide supervision to assigned staff in a manner that promotes and develops a positive environment for members.
Participate in peer review, supervision, intake and diagnostic staffing’s, in-house educational and administrative meetings as directed
Monitor and facilitate communication of staff and member interaction.
Train and coach staff to ensure compliance and implementation of service goals and objectives.
Oversee implementation and adherence to organization-wide and department specific FBH policies, monitoring for compliance and addressing non-compliance as needed. Utilize reporting tools to ensure staff’s compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Act as a resource for employees for problem solving, case collaboration, and crisis management.
Routinely communicate with Program Administrator, keeping them up to date on operations, challenges, and issues.
Engage the Program Administrator as needed for staff performance or other areas of concern or that require escalation. Escalate barriers, high risk situations, unresolved concerns, etc. to Director as needed.
Participate in planning and evaluation of the program.
Provide community support services, participate in the work-ordered day, assist with Transitional Employment and other components of a successful clubhouse as defined by Clubhouse International’s The International Standards for Clubhouse Programs.
Work on weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary to develop and enhance Clubhouse programming.
Develop and manage supportive and transitional employment placements, including member selection, training, and support, and maintaining good relationships with employers.
Participate in supervision, in-center educational, and administrative meetings as directed.
Ensure rehabilitation plans and all other required documentation are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with agency policies and practices.
Requires travel between various FBH work sites on a regular or daily basis, either via FBH owned Vehicles and/or personal vehicle.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health related field
Four years of experience serving individuals with behavioral health needs
Must submit for Agency Affiliation within 30 days of hire
Within 12 months of hire, the employee must attend a 2-3 week intensive Clubhouse International Training as a condition of continued employment.
Must have an unrestricted and valid driver’s license, be able to pass a motor vehicle screening and driving test, have active car insurance, and be willing to use their personal vehicle in the course of work.
PREFERRED:
Experience working in an ICCD model clubhouse
Master’s degree in behavioral health related field
Designation as a Mental Health Professional
Three years or more of experience serving individuals with behavioral health needs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong engagement and customer service skills, empathy, ability to remain calm, professional, and clear headed during escalated situations.
Knowledge of all WAC and RCW requirements as it relates to the program as well as Clubhouse International Standards.
Ability to communicate and engage effectively with individuals of varied, backgrounds, trauma experiences, cultures, education level and socio-economic status.
Demonstrate evidence of critical thinking, decision-making ability and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously

This position provided client services in-office and within the community at large on a occasional to frequent basis.
Community settings include but are not limited to residences, group/congregate living settings, hospitals, shelters, the streets or anywhere in the community at large.
Some environments may not be ideal in terms of cleanliness or being habitable.
Occasional to frequent travel between locations is required.
The ability to drive a vehicle, traverse distances up to several city blocks and on various terrains, navigate stairs, get in and out of vehicles frequently is required.
Daily use of a computer is required.
May be required to lift 10 - 20 pounds.
Blood-borne Pathogen Category III - No predictable exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
PAY RANGE (Salary/Exempt): Supervisor I: $73,852.48 - $89,973.52
All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health, thus, the starting pay is $73,852.48 annually.
