About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Cook to support our Recovery Services team by preparing nutritious meals, maintaining kitchen operations, and ensuring compliance with USDA guidelines. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact each day by contributing to a supportive and caring environment for the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain adequate kitchen and supply inventory; communicate needs to the Facility/Program Manager.
Prepare and serve meals following established menus and USDA guidelines for serving size and nutritional content.
Prepare alternative dishes when needed to accommodate dietary restrictions (e.g., bland diets for ill residents).
Assist with meal clean-up and support residents as needed with plate clearing.
Properly label, store, and manage leftovers.
Prep ingredients and components for the next day’s meals while maintaining freshness and safety.
Prepare food items for special events or resident celebrations (e.g., birthday cakes).
Document menu substitutions accurately and share updates with the Facility/Program Manager.
Provide input on menu planning, nutrition, and resident preferences when requested.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Active Missouri Food Handlers Card required.
