In this role, the Leasing Coordinator manages leasing and resident services for assigned properties, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and effective communication. You’ll oversee application processing, coordinate maintenance needs, support resident retention, and assist with inspections—helping create housing environments where residents feel supported, informed, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage leasing activities, resident relations, and marketing efforts for assigned properties
  • Support residents by responding to inquiries and coordinating appropriate services and resources
  • Process housing applications and maintain accurate, confidential resident files
  • Coordinate maintenance needs and ensure properties meet compliance and safety standards
  • Collect rent, manage resident communications, and support timely follow-up
  • Implement resident retention strategies and assist with annual inspections

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two years of experience in a similar role preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services–related field preferred

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Must possess a current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
  • Successful completion of required background checks including criminal, driving, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint screening

Physical Requirements

  • Perform sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and negligible force frequently
  • Sit for extended periods with occasional walking or standing
  •  Perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and writing
