Commercial Title Examiner – Entry-Level (Law School Graduates)

Location: This is a fully in-office position based out of our Maitland, FL location. Remote work is not available.
 

About the Role:

Are you a recent law school graduate looking to launch your career in the real estate and title insurance industry? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious individual to join our team as a Commercial Title Examiner. This role offers hands-on mentorship and training in a collaborative, in-office environment. No prior title experience or bar passage is required - we're looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and make an impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Examine commercial title records and issue title commitments and Owner & Encumbrance reports
• Conduct legal research on property tax records, bankruptcies, liens, and judgments
• Collaborate with underwriting to resolve title objections and obtain necessary approvals
• Work closely with clients, addressing inquiries and guiding them through title-related issues
• Review closing documents to ensure compliance with title requirements

Who You Are:

• A graduate of an accredited law school (bar passage not required)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• An excellent communicator, both in writing and over the phone
• Polite, professional, and client-facing, with strong interpersonal skills
• Someone who thrives in a structured, in-office environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
• Smart, humble, and eager to learn
