AP PROCTOR JOB DESCRIPTION


Under the direction of the AP Test Coordinator the AP Proctor administers AP exams in accordance with College Board policies.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administers the assessments according to the specific policies and procedures outlined by College Board.
  • Ensures that all test security policies and procedures are strictly followed.
  • Communicates any questions, concerns, suggestions, or clarifications to AP Test Coordinator.
  • Reviews all testing manuals, materials, and student accommodation lists prior to test day to ensure accurate exam administration.
  • Ensures approved accommodations are provided to student while testing.
  • Reports any possible testing irregularities to the AP Test Coordinator.
  • Participates in mandatory training as required.


Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required.

Experience

  • Prior test administration or teaching experience preferred.

Salary: $28.00/hour

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with school system staff and students.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations.
