Position Title:
Graduate Assistant - Advancement/Development
Job Description:
Serve as a graduate assistant within the Office of Development. Perform a variety of administrative and office duties related to all facets of fundraising.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work in Slate (our CRM) to keep donor and alumni records accurate and up to date
- Help clean up data (fix duplicates, standardize info, keep things organized)
- Support gift processing and donor thank-you communications
- Build, test, and maintain online forms, events, and giving pages
- Run basic reports and lists to support fundraising and events
- Upload and organize documentation in constituent records
- Work closely with the Advancement team while handling confidential information responsibly
Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:
- Currently enrolled graduate student
- Detail-oriented and well organized
- Comfortable handling confidential data
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CRMs (Slate, Banner, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, etc.)
- Interest or coursework in data, higher ed, nonprofits, or information systems
- Experience with data cleanup, reporting, or admin support

Salary/Hours/Benefits
- A stipend of $6000 per academic year.
- 20 hours per week for 9 months (August-May)
