Video Media Assistant


 

The Video Media Assistant assists the supervisor and creative producer by coordinating all facets of a production from planning to post-production, as well as general office operations. Responsibilities include assisting with the production schedule, researching and securing possible talent, scheduling shifts/shooting locations, ensuring proper release forms are signed, collaborating with multiple departments to ensure graphics/media are secured, maintaining department calendars, and determining required props/set décor.


 

Coordinates & Schedules Productions

Schedules event coverage and reserves resources for shoots based on project notes and meeting details, supporting all phases of production. Recommends adjustments in priorities, to ensure projects are completed within the deadline.

Acts as Liaison

Acts as a key liaison between the crew members, talent, outside vendors, and other departments, keeping all parties informed of the production schedule and responsibilities. Assists the supervisor by sending emails and calendar invites for seamless operations.

Assists with Livestreams

Collaborates with the livestream director and other departments to confirm that all required media is received in advance, and that the livestream is scheduled correctly across designated platforms with the appropriate settings. If issues arise during a livestreamed event, this role may be required to be on-call outside of standard business hours for troubleshooting.

Develops Skills

Continuously refines video production and streaming processes to optimize efficiency, while actively developing skills in scheduling and operations to enhance overall productivity.

Education

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree - Media Production


 

Work Experience

Required Experience:

1+ years in project management

Preferred Experience:
3+ years in media project management
