Position Summary
The Customer Operations Specialist is a commercially focused role responsible for managing customer interactions, quoting strategy, and order execution while exercising independent judgment to support revenue growth and customer retention.
This role operates at the intersection of customer experience, sales support, and operations, requiring analysis, prioritization, and decision-making that directly impacts business outcomes.

We’re hiring a Customer Operations Specialist to support and grow our customer relationships while helping move opportunities from inquiry → quote → order → delivery. 

This role goes beyond traditional customer service. You’ll operate at the intersection of customer experience, sales support, and operations, making decisions that directly impact customer outcomes and revenue performance. 

 

What You’ll Own 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and territories  

  • Develop accurate, competitive quotes while balancing pricing, lead times, and feasibility  

  • Manage the full order lifecycle and coordinate across operations and engineering  

  • Support aftermarket parts and warranty needs, ensuring timely and effective resolution  

  • Handle high-volume inbound communication with a focus on prioritization and problem-solving  

  • Drive follow-up and opportunity progression to improve quote-to-order conversion  

  • Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements  

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 2–5 years in manufacturing, distribution, customer operations, or inside sales support  

  • Experience working with quotes, orders, or configurable products  

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities  

  • Comfortable working with ERP/CRM systems and product/pricing data  

  • Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally  

  • A proactive mindset—you take ownership and make decisions
