The Role and What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for hiring, developing, and managing the Boxing Accounting Team
  • Drives the monthly accounting close, general ledger, reporting to provided to senior management
  • Reviews staff accountant work, providing timely feedback, corrections, and adjustments to ensure work product meets department standards
  • Responsible for the integrity and reconciliation of general ledger for assigned companies, object accounts, departments, s and account reconciliations
  • Prepares, verifies, and controls the entering of journal entries into general ledger for assigned companies and object accounts
  • Maintains all accounting data in accordance with company-specific policies, confidentiality, procedures, and practices.
  • Understand and promotes adherence to finance and accounting policies, procedures, and practices set by the TKO Group
  • Preparation and or review of key / non key internal controls in accordance with TKO’s documentation standards
  • Supports and helps coordinate the financial statement audit process by working with internal /external auditors, managing deadlines, and providing accurate supporting documentation
  • Assists with determining the optimal coding structure for internal management reporting and oversees staff accountants accurately recording entries that reflect that coding structure
  • Prepares or reviews monthly analytics comparing actual results to prior periods and to budget
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technologies to improve efficiency, timeliness, and or standardization across TKO accounting processes and controls
  • Assists with implementing and integrating new finance and accounting software as necessary. Supports the department’s needs from the ERP system
  • Other duties as assigned

 

You Have These:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience. Advanced coursework in Finance and/or CPA (or equivalent) preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience
  • Strong analytical skills, technical or operational accounting background and research skills
  • Experience working with multinational public companies; experience in the sporting events industry a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
  • High degree of proficiency with data entry functions
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, knowledge of JDE and/or SAP a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook and ability to learn other basic computer programs.
