The Student ITS Event Support Associate helps deliver and support technology used in campus events, classes, and meetings. This role is ideal for students interested in audio-visual tech, streaming platforms, and customer service.

Job Description

Typical duties include but not limited to:

  • Delivers, installs, troubleshoots, and operates audio visual systems, streaming platforms, and computers used in classes, meetings, conferences, and other special events.
  • Ensures correct operation of audio-visual equipment, assists users with operational issues, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Learns to use basic software tools to enhance audio and video sources.
  • Assists in processing customer requests.
  • Assists in tracking tickets in work order system.

Other duties:

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Enrolled as a student at Florida Gulf Coast University and in good conduct standing with the University.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
