· Lead the Food Safety and Regulatory programs across the supply chain in DOTA. Including but not limited to FDA’s Produce Safety Rule, PCHF, FSVP, and Sanitary Transportation.
o Ensure all grower operations exporting fruit into the US comply with FSVP regulation (Mexico, Peru, Morocco, etcetera).
o Ensure all coolers and 3PL’s follow FSVP and FDA related regulations in DOTA.
· Leads and develop the food safety regulatory compliance team. Provide leadership to direct and indirect reports within the department at a DOTA level, develop team members in terms of function, capacity, and capabilities to succeed. Design proper training program for team members to be proficient in all regulatory activities to ensure front-line decision making when supporting the growers.
· Leads all Food Safety Regulatory activities by analyzing risk factors collaborating with the operational team to develop accurate and efficient action plans in the US but also at DOTA level. Design program to Risk Rank Grower performance based on Food Safety audit results and field visit observations from the Regulatory perspective to provide the business with clarity on where the Risks are and how to mitigate risk factors.
· Leads the Pesticide Control Advisory initiative within DOTA. Provide leadership within DOTA on pesticide control usage. Design programs to ensure Driscoll’s meets market destinations Maximum Residue Limits. Identify Risk Factors, training needs and controls to ensure all Driscoll’s Growers aligns to related requirements.
· Leads export programs to maintain compliance in export markets such as Canada.
· Lead and set regulatory key performance indicators and inform performance to leadership.
· Interpret Food Safety regulatory standards and develop policies and procedures that enable operations to comply and exceed expectations.
· Lead the Implementation of technological tools for the department. Design and implement data management system for all DOTA, lead FACT’s system to control pesticide usage across DOTA.
· Lead Food Safety Regulatory customer requirements response for the department. Provide leadership on customer requirements, customer & consumer complaints. Design a Risk assessment development program to make sure all responses are based on scientific and most up-to-date information on the topic.

Salary Range estimated for the Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance Manager is: $102,540 to $140,993 USD.
