POSITION TITLE: Biller

LOCATION: Burbank, CA (Hybrid - in office 2 days a week)

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Entertainment Biller is responsible for accurately preparing, processing, and managing billing and invoicing for entertainment projects, events, or clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and an understanding of industry-specific billing practices. The Entertainment Biller works closely with production teams, accounting departments, and clients to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Billing and Invoicing:
    • Prepare and process invoices for clients, projects, or events in accordance with company policies and client agreements.
    • Verify and reconcile billing information with contracts, purchase orders, and other supporting documentation. Resolve billing issues and disputes in a professional manner.
  • Financial Tracking and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions.
    • Assist in tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with production, accounting, and legal teams to ensure alignment on billing terms and conditions.
    • Support financial audits and reviews by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in billing, accounting, or financial management, preferably in the entertainment industry.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in billing and accounting software (e.g., Media Pulse, SAP, or similar systems).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Working Conditions: Full-time position with standard Home/Office hours

This role is based in Los Angeles, California and the base pay range for this role is $22.00 - $27.00 per hour. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
