Position Overview

Junior IT Support

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for end users, including hardware, software, and basic network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and standard business applications.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of workstations, peripherals, and software.
  • Support user account management, including onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Assist with system updates, patches, and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Document incidents, solutions, and procedures in the IT knowledge base.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to end users on IT tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on local and global IT initiatives.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the manager.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cinema/film, as well as:

  • Previous experience in an IT Support, Help Desk, or similar entry-level role is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS; basic Linux knowledge is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Willingness to learn troubleshooting methodologies and IT support best practices.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization or cloud environments is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft fundamentals, or similar) are a plus.
  • Technical degree, vocational training, or studies in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) are desirable.
