Job Description Summary

The Program

Par Health offers an 11-week internship program designed to provide an immersive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Par Health Intern, you’ll have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world corporate setting while building valuable connections through networking opportunities across the organization.

Summary of Position

API Commercial Intern will drive improvements in commercial market and performance analytics, assist with updating market analyses and marketing materials, and propose improvements to various commercial processes. This position will also assist with analyses for strategic planning and with customer notifications.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Working with Product Managers, Pricing and Operations team to understand the process and inputs for developing commercial forecasts, demand plans and supply plans
  • Utilize industry data sources and secondary market research to:
    • Better understand our market shares and product trends
    • Evaluate changes in market conditions and pricing trends
    • Analyse existing and investigate new market research tools
  • Participating in strategic discussions assessing product strategy
  • Working with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve our business practices
  • Work with Controlled Substances product team and sales team to make timely customer notifications of process changes

Minimum Requirements

Pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Science Related or Engineering with an interest in the Pharmaceuticals or Healthcare industry.

  • Education/Experience: Has at least three years of undergraduate study
  • Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Has completed coursework in Business, Finance, Sciences or Analytics
  • Has excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on project teams
  • Has acquired skills/experiences in data analysis
  • Motivated self-starter and can operates independently
  • Strong communication skills

Relationship with Others/Scope of Position

The Intern will work under the guidance of the Sr. Director of Product Management & Analytics. This role will partner with additional colleagues on the Commercial Team, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain.
