Pay
$27.63 - $33.76 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Plus $2.00 / hr. shift premium for 3rd shift hours
Schedule
3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)
Clock out for lunch & other days and hours as needed

Job Summary
McKee Foods is seeking a Process Mechanic to join our Maintenance Department team. This role demands a mix of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, along with a focus on teamwork, safety, and effective communication. Below is a breakdown of the responsibilities, qualifications, and preferences for the position:
Job Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs on all process and related equipment
Set up and carry out changeovers for process machinery
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery failures
Provide technical assistance to production teams
Rebuild equipment and components regularly
Modify equipment as needed to improve its performance and reliability
Engage in training programs to improve personal technical skills
Operate machinery, tools, vehicles, and computers for troubleshooting and repairs
Maintain detailed maintenance records
Communicate effectively with team members to repair and maintain equipment efficiently
Purchase and maintain tools required for the job
Ensure the workspace, shop, and toolbox are clean and sanitary
Perform additional tasks as required by supervisors
Required Qualifications:
Two years of experience maintaining automated industrial equipment or equivalent technical training
Understanding of electrical and electronics controls
Commitment to personal safety and the safety of others
Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude
Ability to work self-directed and in a team environment
Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of PCs and basic software
Safety shoes required on the first day
Good hygiene and a clean workspace
Strong work and safety record
Preferred Qualifications:
Four years of industrial maintenance experience
Experience in industrial mechanical, electrical, packaging, or process maintenance
Proficiency in welding (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron) and using an acetylene torch
Experience or training in hydraulics and pneumatics
