Plan, develop, and facilitate structured recreational therapy groups that support treatment goals such as emotional regulation, communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, and self‑esteem.
Incorporate evidence‑based and trauma‑informed approaches appropriate for youth with behavioral health, developmental, and trauma‑related needs.
Document progress, participation, and clinical observations in the electronic health record according to Medicaid and PRTF standards.
Communicate regularly with therapists, nurses, psychiatrists, teachers, and direct care staff to ensure consistency in behavioral and therapeutic approaches.
Provide input on behavioral strategies, coping skills, and activity‑based interventions that support treatment goals across the milieu.
Follow PRTF safety protocols, crisis intervention procedures, and supervision ratios.
Maintain trainings as required and requested
Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations
Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures
Complete all other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor
Driving and travel may be required
