Job Overview
We are seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our Garden Care team. As a Team Member, you will work as part of a crew (usually 3 - 5 people) under the direction of a Team Leader to maintain high-quality residential and commercial landscapes. This role involves a wider variety of seasonal tasks designed to keep properties looking pristine, healthy, and beautiful throughout the year.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with spring and fall cleanups, including debris removal from sites.
Perform routine landscape care such as weeding, deadheading perennials, and light pruning of shrubs and ornamental trees.
Apply and remove winter protection materials (e.g., burlap, plant wraps, coverings).
Edge flower beds, tree rings, and walkways for clean, defined appearance.
Apply mulch to planting beds as needed to maintain site standards.
Support routine summer maintenance tasks such as lawn and bed upkeep.
Safely operate basic landscape tools and equipment.
Follow direction from the Team Leader to complete assigned tasks efficiently and to company quality standards.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude while working on properties.
Job Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
